So I’m guessing one day Gosho will explain who everyone else was on the phone with at the time. We know Amuro was talking with Vermouth, and maybe one of the other two was on the line with someone who spotted Vermouth. However, as of yet, there has been no explanation.
It could fall into the void of “plot holes” but this seems like one that should be filled in asap considering the suspense surrounding this moment.
Well, what I’m guessing is that (WARNING: SPOILER FOR RECENT CHAPTERS) knowing Akai, he would probably have done something to bug or hack into Amuro’s phone somehow, and thus, is listening in on the conversation.
As for Sera, idk. Maybe she asked someone in the FBI (most likely Camel, since they met before in the East vs. West case) to examine Akai’s files?
But this is just a random theory, you don’t have to take it seriously. :x
